Description GYM Streptomyces Agar
Composition Glucose:4.0g, Yeast Extract:4.0g, Malt Extract:10.0g, CaCO3:2.0g, Agar:15.0g, pH:7.2(25℃)
Growth conditions 30°C; 3–5 days; aerobic;
Subculture procedure ① Prepare 1–2 of the above agar plates; ② Open in a safety cabinet, scorch the top with a酒精灯, then quickly add a drop of sterile water to cause it to crack, and subsequently crush it with forceps; ③ Pipette 0.5 mL of sterile water into a freeze-dried vial; after thoroughly dissolving the bacterial powder, pipette approximately 200 μL onto each of the two agar plates and spread evenly; ④ Incubate the plates under the aforementioned conditions; the strain is ready for use once growth appears.
